Does The Full-Body Ultrasport F-Bike 700BS Pro Try Too Hard?
There are additional exercise stations and other features here, to the point where it starts to look like more of a home-gym machine than an exercise bike.
There is a lot here designed to help users improve their fitness – but does it work?
The Pros and Cons of this Ultrasport F-Bike 700BS Pro.
- A reliable flywheel and resistance system
- App compatible if needed
- The quirky drawstring system for a fuller workout.
- The lack of comfort for smaller users
- The ugly profile caused by all those extra features
The Ultrasport 700BS Pro has more features for a full workout than a lot of other gym bikes.
Starting with the more traditional features of this Ultrasport exercise bike, there is a 5kg flywheel with a silent belt drive system, which means that users can workout with a smooth process and get enough resistance.
The pedals have straps to make them more secure and the seat has an additional backrest for comfort. All data from the session appears on the LCD display.
Then there are the less-common features. The most obvious oddity here is the drawstring system that runs through the frame with loops for the legs and handles for the arms.
The aim here is to help to provide a more intense full-body workout. Then there is the additional app compatibility.
This all leads to the fact that the Ultrasport F-Bike 700BS Pro is an ugly and awkward machine for some.
There are definitely exercise bikes out there that are much more attractive. This stationary bike has a strange, bulging red case around the flywheel, a stark grey frame and all of those cords and pulleys around it for the drawstring system.
The design also means that it doesn’t fold up in the same way as similar bikes and isn’t as easy to store. There are transport wheels, but they only do so much to help.
However, the biggest problem is that smaller users can’t reach both the pedals and the handlebars comfortably at the same time. There are limitations in the way that this adjusts, probably because of the complex design.
What does this mean for the final recommendation for this Ultrasport Full-Body Pro F-Bike?
There are a lot of questions to ask before buying this bike machine. Is it going to be the right size? Are those drawstring pulley elements going to be a waste of money?
This isn’t a cheap home trainer so you have to be sure that you will get your money’s worth here. That means using every feature for a full workout while staying comfortable.
If that seems unlikely with this design, go for something cheaper. If you can see the potential and this is in your budget, the Ultrasport exercise bike does have enough interesting quirks to be of use.
